AhlulBayt News Agency: The Medical Affairs Department at the Al‑Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine continues to offer free medical consultations, examinations, and treatments to visitors throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Mr. Maher Khaled, the assistant head of the department, explained that the services include specialized medical consultations, blood pressure and diabetes testing, treatment procedures, ECG, laboratory analyses, X‑rays, ultrasound, and the provision of necessary medications. He added that emergency cases are monitored around the clock by trained medical and nursing teams.
He noted that these efforts are carried out in accordance with the directives of the Holy Shrine’s General Secretariat, aiming to provide the best free medical services and reduce the burden on visitors, especially the elderly and those suffering from chronic illnesses.
Khaled added that the medical centers surrounding the Al‑Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine continue to receive patients and offer consultations while strictly adhering to health and organizational procedures to ensure the safety of all visitors.
The Holy Shrine emphasized its commitment to providing comprehensive services and a safe environment that allows pilgrims to perform their Ramadan rituals with ease and comfort.
